1. Who we are

Sales Talent AI ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered candidate assessment platform that helps hiring teams evaluate sales talent. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control your data.

2. Information we collect

• Account information you provide: name, email, company, account type.
• Candidate data you upload: resumes, LinkedIn URLs or pasted text, job descriptions, and any related notes. This may contain personal information about third parties (candidates).
• Usage data: assessments you generate, credits used, plan, and basic activity logs.
• Payment information: handled by Stripe; we never receive full card numbers.

3. How we use information

• To generate AI assessments and interview plans you request.
• To operate the service, including billing, support, and account management.
• To send transactional emails (assessment ready, credits low, receipts).
• To improve our scoring methodology — in aggregated, de-identified form only.

4. Your role when uploading candidate data

You are the controller of any candidate data you upload. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to share that data with our platform and for honoring candidate rights (access, deletion, etc.) under applicable law (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

5. Sharing

We share data only with sub-processors strictly necessary to provide the service:

• Hosting and database infrastructure
• AI model providers used to generate assessments
• Stripe (payments)
• Email delivery

We do not sell personal information.

6. Your rights

You can at any time:

• View and update your profile in the app.
• Delete any individual candidate assessment you've created.
• Request deletion of your entire account and associated data via our Data Deletion page.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have additional rights (access, portability, objection).

7. Retention

We retain candidate data and assessments for as long as your account is active. When you delete an assessment or your account, related candidate data is removed within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention obligations.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

9. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
